The Trogotronic Compilation

As you may or may not know (or care) a few years back we at Trogotronic embarked upon yet another (mostly) money losing labour of love that is more often than not bad for our immediate environs and, no doubt, in some quantity our flesh (though we were able to purchase a Shanghai-made soldering hood this month with the proceeds of another head chopping venture)... Inspired by some who appear on this collection (and many who don't) Trogotronic was born not so much as a boutique pedal enterprise in search of profit as an obsession with analog artifact generators as cause rather than effect alone... With advertising costing as much for a one-moon-long appearance in even an alterna-tree-burner title fraction of a fractional spot as a 1000 piece disc pressing we figured a compilation of artists using the gear they bought would be a better bet in the long run than a disposable toilet entertainer. Perhaps we were wrong but throwing caution and greenbacks to the wind we humbly present this offering as a joint cooperative release from Trogotronic & the Thumbprint Press. We encourage you to check with your artist of choice via the links above to support thier expert efforts of audio composition by buying the disc directly from them, hopefully they will return the favor to us by not mentioning the occasional high voltage fires and other catastrophic failiures of Trogotronic gear, only telling you about the unique sounds and great value afforded by our products (or editions electronic art if you would allow) when "malfunctioning" properly.
